Rimrock Adventures provides our guests with two spectacular areas in which to ride. Our one-, two-, and three-hour rides take you into the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area. Our wild horse ride takes you into the federally-protected Little Bookcliffs Wild Horse Preserve.

Devils Canyon Ride

This half-day ride takes you into Devils Canyon and the pristine Black Ridge Wilderness Area. The red slickrock canyons and coves shimmer in the sunlight. Watch for rare desert bighorn sheep, mule deer and golden eagles.

Colorado Canyons Ride

Ride the rim of Devil's Canyon and absorb the beauty of the red rock coves and canyons that abound with desert wildlife including eagles, deer, jack rabbits and — sometimes — the elusive coyote.

The Little Bookcliffs Wild Horse Preserve encompasses over 30,000 acres of rugged canyons and plateaus in the Little Bookcliff Mountains north of Grand Junction. Ride by horseback into these beautiful badlands in search of the wild mustangs.

Sunset Ride

Western Colorado is known for its spectacular desert sunsets! Spend two hours watching the sky change as the sun sets over the red rock canyons. Departs two hours before sunset.

Saddles and Paddles [Half Day]

Experience a small taste of the Old West on a 1 hour horseback ride and a 1½ hour float trip down the Colorado River.

Saddle up and spend the morning riding the scenic trails near Colorado National Monument. Then after lunch on the banks of the Colorado River, you will float and relax on the river all afternoon.
